Dr. Evan Feigenbaum Speaks on US-India Relations





On March 1, Dr. Evan A. Feigenbaum, currently a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and former deputy assistant undersecretary of state for South Asia, spoke to one of the largest audiences in the history of Huntingtown's guest lecture series on US-Indian Relations.

Sophomore Cecilia Sanders debuted as moderator; Evan Dahlstrom was a lead organizer.

World in 2010: India


The United Nations Association of Huntingtown High School will host its second guest lecture of the 2010 school year on March 1, featuring Dr. Evan A. Feigenbaum, Senior Fellow for East, Central, and South Asia at the Council on Foreign Relations and former deputy assistant secretary of state for South Asia, who will be speaking on US relations with India. Cecilia Sanders will moderate.

World in 2010: Foreign policy in the Obama administration


On 20 January 2010, Huntingtown High School's United Nations Association hosted its first guest lecture of 2010, featuring Edward Alden, a fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, author of The Closing of the American Border: Terrorism, Immigration, and Security Since 9/11, and former Washington bureau chief for the Financial Times. Mr. Alden's conversation focused specifically on the Obama administration's response to terrorism.

First guest lecture of 2010 announced


On 20 January 2010, Huntingtown High School's United Nations Association will host its first guest lecture of 2010, featuring Edward Alden of the Council on Foreign Relations, who will be speaking on foreign policy one year into the Obama administration. Kyle Hutzler will moderate.
